Keizer Work Injury and How Chiropractic Can Help
At First Choice Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, we specialize in alleviating pain associated with workplace injuries in Keizer and Salem, OR. Even if you did not injure yourself in a specific accident, there may be everyday, repetitive motions you perform that could lead to carpal tunnel syndrome, back pain, neck pain, or several other musculoskeletal complaints. The insidious nature of repetitive motion injuries in no way minimizes the pain and debilitation you experience. Fortunately, in many cases, you don't have to take a significant amount of time off work to rehabilitate back or neck pain (or even carpal tunnel syndrome) if you pursue natural, effective treatments from your Keizer chiropractors.
Chiropractic care may reduce work absenteeism for back and neck pain, according to recent research. In a new survey, people who received chiropractic care managed to miss fewer work days compared to patients who hadn't seen a chiropractor.
In this 2013 study, 650 workers in Minnesota who reported back and/or neck pain were surveyed. The researchers discovered that most of those surveyed stated that their back pain caused them to miss work or caused them to make errors on the job.
The most significant finding, however, was that those employees who saw a chiropractic physician had 58% fewer disability days than those who didn't see a chiropractor!
Many studies report that chiropractic care is the perfect way to manage and even prevent back pain, and that's what we have observed here in our clinic in Keizer, OR.
