Why Chiropractic?

Chiropractic care is ideal for patients who wish to treat the cause of their pain in a safe and natural way. Chiropractic does not solely rely on the use of drugs to treat the symptoms of a spinal or other health condition.   Rather, the treatment focuses on the source of the spinal condition or injury. In chiropractic, patients are encouraged to take an active role in their healing through healthy lifestyle choices such as diet and exercise.

Before we can treat you, we must first perform and evaluation of your spinal condition, and determine what specific treatment you will need.  After a series of questions about your pain, and injury the Chiropractic Physician will perform several tests.  The following tests may include:  range of motion of the spine and extremities, neurological and orthopedic examination and palpation of the injured areas.  The doctor may order, x-rays, CT scan or MRI based on your unique injuries and clinical condition.

After we determine specific spinal injury, we will determine the best course of treatment.  In most cases Chiropractic Physicians are experts in spinal adjustments and re-align the spine or extremity if it is out of alignment.  When bones are out of alignment due to an injury or some other reason, this can lead to pain and restriction of motion of the injured spinal areas.  Depending on the injury or ailment, these adjustments can help improve range of motion, and  flexibility.  These adjustments also help relieve pain, and help normalize spinal function.  The spinal adjustments we use are gentle and very effective.

Care Methods: Physical Therapy & Massage

We utilize many methods to treat our patients. All of them are safe, gentle, effective and non-invasive. Chiropractic care usually consists of a series of adjustments, with physical therapy modalities such as ultrasound, interferential current, moist heat, traction, deep tissue massage or other modalities.  We also utilize spinal strengthening exercises in order to fully rehabilitate the spinal or extremity injury and facilitate to pre-injury status.  All treatments are performed by licensed personnel.
