A Multidisciplinary Approach to Care
We work with many Medical Physicians in the Community including Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, & Pain Management Specialists. We may also refer you for an MRI of your back, neck, knee or shoulder injury if you are not improving as expected, or if you continue to have persistent radiating pain, numbness, or tingling in the arms or legs.
Many Medical Doctors, Local Hospitals, and Urgent Care Centers may refer patients to us for our chiropractic treatment and physical therapy. These medical professionals recognize the effectiveness of the combination of chiropractic treatments, physical therapy, and massage for an injury or spinal condition. So, if you have been injured in a car accident or have a work injury call us right away; we get excellent results!
If a patient’s spinal injury is very acute, and they are in significant pain, we may refer the patient to a Medical Physician for pain medication on a temporary basis. Chronic use of pain medication or other narcotics can be harmful. However, a short duration of medication is ok, as long as the patient is working on getting the proper treatment and treating the underlying cause of the problem rather than just masking the pain with drugs. Chronic and prolonged use of drugs can cause liver damage, ulcers, and stomach problems. We go the extra mile for the patient, and will do everything we can to help you get rid of the pain as quickly as possible, and correct the underlying cause of the spinal or extremity condition.
